God has no needs

went for solitude together with Pr.Sooi Lin, Sis Surya, and the sym-mers. We went up to air itam dam and found a good spot. We then mengasingkan ourselves to certain places where we find comfortable.
Something that I read from the bible which I find very powerful is this :)


and human hands can't serve His needs- for He has no needs. He himself gives life and breath to everything, and satisfies every need. Acts 17:24

For in Him, we live and move and exist. Acts 17:28

God is just so powerful. There are many times we thought that we are fulfilling God's needs by serving. We are so wrong because God has no needs. Instead, serving is a privilege given by God to His children to be part of His mighty works. By serving and worshipping God, we ourselves are fulfilled. Sometimes we may think this way - "God needs me to be there", "God needs me to serve in that ministry". But it's actually for our own good to serve in whatever ministry that we are called to serve - for our growth, to be a better person and to be Christ-likeness. God is always close to us (whether you realise it or not). He is faithful. It's not that God can't live without us, but God knows how much we need Him because in Him, we live and move and exist. That's how much God loves you :)
