A day at Kawan

Went to Kawan (a centre for the homeless) with Joanne two days ago. It was just a very random plan since Jessica is helping out in Kawan now. Yet it was so timely because we met a group of koreans who are here for a short mission trip. So nice to get to know people our age but from a different country :) Managed to talk to a few of them and it's really interesting to share with one another; our culture, thoughts, experiences and also our common interest - RUNNING MAN :p 

It has been quite some time since the last time I visited Kawan..but it was really nice to be there again. There was no proper schedule or timetable for worship, bible study or sharing.. but everything is just so random la. haha and it's very cute because the moment someone starts playing guitar or singing, some old people sing along even though it's just a 'worship practice'..People clap, people dance, people look at you :p And there was this uncle who sang really loud and out of tune :D but I could see so much passion in him from his facial expression :) I'm reminded again on heart of worship :) Thank you, uncle.

And because everything is just so random there, I was asked to do hokkien translation on the spot for Rowen who was sharing the word. Wah lau. haha but thank God everything went well i guess. Have to brush up my hokkien though..a lot of hokkien terms I didn't know eg; promise, heaven, forsake.. haha but it was a good experience. I realize that I do enjoy randomness too :D wee!

This morning I woke up feeling loved.. 

because I know Daddy sent rain! :D

Hohoho! Went for Marshall's with Nic and Alie! Yumssss! Yes, be jealous!! HAHAHA

Performed a 'stepping' dance during women's conference last weekend. Man, I was so bad at this.. haha I was like always one second slower than the others :X

btw, it was also my first time dancing in my new shoes! :D 

Say 'Hello' to my new friend, Pamara. hahah met her during women's conference. She was just sitting beside me and we started talking. We have so many things in common! From our conversation, we realised that we studied in the same primary school (skbl), high school (sggs) and surprisingly she was also from USM and PKA! but we have not met each other before this hahaha she graduated 3 years ago. So she is like my senior :D the coolest thing is she also accepted Christ 4-5 years ago :)

One of the things that I bought with RM250 voucher. hehehe can't wait to start on this new journal!! :) :)


I've stopped insanity for 5 days. hahaa or is it 6? hmmm.. susah la, nak exercise all haha but i shall not give up! yes! I must not let Shaun's prophecy comes true. it's time to start again today! *semangat*

my new racket

My mum bought me a new racket.. 

so I've been exercising in the room, playing badminton with mosquitoes hahahaa

I understand when some people get excited over certain speakers, because I personally do.. but I remember when I was a new believer, Sarah told me this,"Even if the speaker is the most boring speaker on planet earth, we are still able to learn something.. because what matters most is the condition of our hearts."

random to the max

This is my blog.. so now I want to be emo. haha this post is specially dedicated to Neo. Look at him, he kena scratched at his 'cheek' :( I is sad. Very sad. I wonder why some people can't drive properly? Tsk. Even if you couldn't, I think you should be responsible enough to at least leave your phone number behind wei.. Don't be naive la.. you think still got people like that meh. Haih. Very true. I remember when I was in my first year, I knocked a car while reversing in Queensbay car park.. fail haha Steph was sitting right beside me. We looked at each other and it took me some time to finally decide to leave a note on the car windscreen. If this thing happen again, without thinking twice, I will make sure I do to others what I want others to do to me.
Anyway, no matter what happens, my love for Neo will not change.. *drama* Although he is not as good looking as last time, I will still love him the same. Even Kembara failed me, but not Neo! He has been faithful to me. He is my good and faithful servant. My black handsome servant.

By the way...

we're done with CPR II :) my prayer is that we will continue to depend on God, especially Carmen..because she tends to always do things with her own strength and then buat bising hahaha so yup.

I won't give up

Saw an old couple sitting in front of us yesterday when Tien and I went for dim sum. I was stalking them. haha It's amazing how they can still love and care for each other at an old age.. I guess they really meant it when they said "I do" on their wedding day :) With the ever increasing divorce rate around the world, may we learn from many other couples who chose not to give up when things get tough or rough.

RIP- my journals!

Read Wai yan's post on her journals.. then made me think about my journals. hahaa I always have this random thought - What will happen to them after I die? 

YES! What will happen to my journals after I die leh? will my family members read them? will my children read them? Hmmm kinda malu lo because I wrote things that are really really personal to me, some crazy and funny incidents, some random conversations with God and so much more! :O Nooooooo! hahaha but it will be good too, i think. I mean I will be dead by then so have nothing to be malu about kan? Good 'cause can help others to see how human I am, just as how they are.. struggles, problems, sins are so real! But at the same time, God is just as real! :D

And then, maybe by reading all these, can help my family members not to miss me so much..hahahaa at least got something for them to read, laugh and keep for the rest of their lives :p good idea right? Oh my, im so brilliant! :D

So it's ok if I don't have valuable stuff to pass down from generation to generation like what we always see in TVB series.. I shall pass down my journals! HAHAHAHA :p

The last so-called cartoon that I watched was Smurf.

A pan called Peter

There are some things about Peter Pan that I like :)
For example, Peter Pan can fly without wings.. without cape :) just flyyyyy
Peter Pan rescued Wendy from her room to Neverland :) such a beautiful land.


When I was young, I looked out from my window and hoped for Peter Pan to come and take me to Neverland. And sometimes, he appeared!! in my dreams :D :D sweet dreams!


It will be cool if Peter Pan were to rescue me tonight from Tekun :) then I can fly to Neverland. Then no need to study heeeeheeee

But since it's raining heavily now, I don't think Peter Pan will come. Good night!

the LOL month

Study weeeeeeeeek.
Went hiking with Sarah, Jessica and Pei Li this morning! Crazy right? haha, the normal Carmen will not do this, not during study weeeeek. but because Sarah just came back from Johore for a week. So I really want to make time for her la :) it was a fruitful time, we managed to hike up in just 20 minutes! I tell you, i'm so impressed by myself HEEHEEE, lalalala 20 minutes eh :p yay! what an achievement!

Nice to see familiar faces again - Sarah and Jessica. Great fellowship :) i really miss.
will be seeing Joanne and Yi Lin soon too. Hopefully in campus camp ba. Missing June Kew too. It's June now but June is not coming back in June!
