RGBC 45th anniversary!

Our church will be celebrating 45th anniversary this sunday! :) All by God's grace!
Last sunday, Pr.Palan preached a sermon on "Why should we thank God for?" and I received so much from the Lord. RGBC has been such a great blessing to me for the past 2 years. Church is not about the building but the people of God!!

Jesus is not coming back for ministries,
Jesus is coming back for the church.
And church is important because it belongs to God.
God gave His life for church.

Ephesians 5:25

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

So,why should we thank God for?

1.We thank God that the church is a fellowship not a club.

Tithes and offering that we give is not our membership fees to the church. Church is not a club, it is a fellowship. Fellowship = 2 people gather in a ship. 2 people associate and heading for the SAME direction. Top priority in fellowship is harmony. If two people in the ship want to go to different direction, the ship will sink. We need to get along with each other. Whatever that causes disunity in a church, is a sin. If the church's name is torn down, it is the name of Jesus that will be torn down.


2.We thank God that the church is a family not a company.

In a family, we have the same DNA. You can change your company when you don't like it, but you cannot change your DNA.

Romans 8:16-17 (New International Version)The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

I can dance

Psalm 147:10-11

He takes no pleasure in the strength of a horse or in human might.

No the LORD's delight is in those who fear him,

those who put their hope in his unfailing love.

I'm in my hostel room alone.

I was singing praises to the Lord.

As usual, I sang out of tune but I like to sing to Him.

Cause He looks into my heart.

I was lifting up my hands and I felt His presence.

I'm not good at dancing but I enjoy dancing,

especially when it's Him who guide my hands.

Perhaps I look like a little girl to Him when I dance..

clumsy, not creative, repeating the same steps over and over again..

but I know He is smiling.

Cause He knows that I'm dancing for Him.

Jesus, I love you.

I can dance in the troubled times

Dance when I win
I can dance when I lose my step
And fall down again
I can dance 'cause You pick me up
Dance 'cause You're there

when I am weak then I am strong

Are you feeling weak?



But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him. It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God—that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption. Therefore, as it is written: "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord." - 1 corinthians 1:27-31

The question is : Are you allowing God to use you?
