friends

I have many friends. But I only have a few good friends. Especially now that i'm in USM, a new place, new environment and meeting new people. I have friends here, but not many. I thank God because one of my good friends is here with me in USM. She's none other than Tan Bee Siang :) but of course, I want to believe that I will meet more wonderful people here in the future. I remember, during my first week in USM, I was lonely and I miss my good friends like crazy. And that's when Wai Wai said something that I will never forget.

"Good friends are not everywhere and that's why they are so PRECIOUS."

Father I thank you, because you have placed good friends in my life.
They are gifts from you and they are precious to me.

I'M TIRED!!! Physically and mentally drained. Gosh, help me Lord. Assignments to rush, tutorial homework yet to complete and next wednesday's statistics test! Mum was admitted into hospital on sunday to remove some stones from her bladder. By God's grace, all went well. These two days, I was rushing from usm to adventist, adventist to usm, usm to adventist. I'm really tired but it's all worth it when I see my mum is fine and alright.This afternoon, I skipped tutorial for microeconomics. I can't take it anymore, came back and slept for about 2 hours. And when I woke up, I sat on a chair, I can hardly move. I'm..just tired. Lord, strengthen me I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

By God's grace

I had my financial accounting test last monday. When I came out from the exam hall, I was like "Die already this time, DIE ALREADY!!" I was very sad and dissapointed with myself, I regret for not studying earlier and not putting enough effort on my weakest subject. Oh God, help! This paper carry 20 marks. 20 marks is alot ok, assignment only 15 marks! :( No hope. "God, if only I can get 10 marks for this, I will be very grateful". Yesterday, Mr.Chee, our financial accounting lecturer came in with the results in his hands. And we were called to line up if we want to know our result. So when it was my turn, I prayed "God, show me mercyyyyy, at least 10 marks pls pls pls!!"

Mr. Chee : What's your name?
Carmen : Phang Carmen, P.H.A.N.G.
Mr. Chee : *flip flip flip the pages* oh very good.
Carmen : (O.0) 87.5%?? 17.5/20??? *stunned* really or not sir? correct or not?

WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! PRAISE GOD! I never never expect myself to get an A for this paper! I had more confidence when I sat for introduction to management test, but even so, I only scored 16/20 for that paper. As for financial accounting, it's my weakest subject because I do not have any basic at all! But I scored better than introduction to manangement :D Just in case you do not know the meaning of grace, grace means getting something that you don't deserve! Thank you Lord!!! thank you thank you thank you thank you!! :D I will work hard from now on and glorify Your name! :) You're Good!!!

Why are we trying to measure our own ability when it's all about God's ability and capability? Sometimes we are just like Moses trying to give so many excuses but when God has called, all we need is just complete obedience, saying

"Yes, God. Send me!"

off to gurney this afternoon to meet up with my ex-classmates! miss them a lot :) we went to clinic cafe for the first time, the food is not really nice and it's expensive! it was my first and the last time! but we had fun there because we have the company of one another :)

RGBC church camp :)

Went for church camp last weekend, and I can say that this is the best camp so far! :D Thank God for uniting His people and giving us the time to come together to fellowship with one another. I laughed so much throughout the whole camp. Through this camp, I know more of my church people whom I rarely talk to, and play with. AWESOME! :D

Returning to my first love

Went for church prayer just now. God amazed me again :) About 15 people came for church prayer, but it was a though 100 people turned up! When Spirit of God moves, it's just simply POWERFUL. We worshiped (not karaoke session) in spirit and in truth, we prayed, we interceded as the Spirit led. Everyone was just so ready to pray! We begin to claim God's promises and prayed for His will to be done! The word "First Love" came to me when I was worshiping and Sis. Charlene confirmed it when she prayed out loud. :) God speaks. God wants His people to return to their first love, in Jesus. I've heard so many people said that as you grow older as a christian, you will eventually begin to feel "dry" and lose your excitement for God. These are all lies of the enemies! How can this be true when God's love is NEW everyday.


While I was driving, this song just came to me. And it's my favourite song for now :) Couldn't find out who was the original singer but nvm, BE BLESSED! :D
