And the first bible character who danced was actually Miriam :)

Exodus 15:20-21
Then Miriam the prophet, Aaron’s sister, took a tambourine and led all the women as they played their tambourines and danced. And Miriam sang this song:

Turning hearts back to God!

This morning, just before I went for BE (Bible Exposition) I talked to Pa about PKA and USM. Praying and interceding for PKA. Felt so good :)

Today's speaker, her name is I Ching Thomas, all the way from Singapore just for Bible Exposition... WOW. amazing kan? She was ex-USM student actually :) So cool! Right after I picked her from usm gate, my car broke down (near dtsp). Of all days and of all time!! But I'm happy because I know the devil is unhappy. Devil is only unhappy when God is going to move :) YAY!
So I waited for the mechanic for like an hour.. so I spent my time wisely by praying for PKA :)
To cut the long story short, I ran up to SK2 for BE at 1.30pm. still got time, still got time!

The speaker was talking about Nehemiah. Melanie asked me to read on this book earlier. So I read yesterday (thursday). So this was what I received on 24/2/11..


:) And guess what? The speaker summarized all in 3 points.
1. God inspired vision and mission (Turning hearts back to God)
2. Faith inspired action (Connecting His people back to church)
3. Prayer inspired courage (PKA becoming house of prayer/ strong in prayer)

:D heeeeheeeee. I normally don't bring my spiritual journal during sharing/sermons. But chun chun my notebook sudah habis, so I brought my journal. When I saw what I wrote, I went :O My heart beat so fast and I was overjoyed! God spoke. God confirmed. SO HAPPY!!! :D

Father, release the fullness of Your spirit.

I was praying to God. "Pa, I need money for SWEEP."
RM 550 leh, aku tarak duit ni..
I already korek my angpau money, preparing to pay RM 50 for deposit.
But God is my provider! :D
Received a blessing of RM50 from grandma just now!
Woahh, now I can pay for my deposit which is exactly RM 50, without using my angpau money :D

I came to know that my aunt's maid is actually a christian..all the way from Philippines! Woahhh...

Carmen : Mary, I heard that you're a christian.
Mary : Yes *look happy*
Carmen : I'm a christian too, i'm the only christian in this family.
Mary: Ohh!
Carmen : Yea..Do you have a bible?
Mary : No. We are not allowed to bring our bible. This is a chinese home *referring to my aunt's house*
Carmen : I have an extra bible. Do you want one? :)
Mary : Oh yes yes! Thank you!!


Will be passing the bible to Mary later. Quite worry because I'm afraid that my aunt may not like it.. BUT I will still do it..There is no category (high class or low class) when it comes to christianity. There's only one category to those who believe in Jesus, that is - children of God. And children of God have all rights to pursue and grow in their understanding and knowledge of who their Father is!!

This is like a reminder to myself. I have the privilege to read the bible, get a nice bible, a colourful bible. but yet sometimes I don't read it..because I'm too busy, no time for it.
Some people out there are longing, dying to read the word of God..

Don't feel condemned, but give thanks! :)
and treasure the Word of God which brings life.

I'm so happy!! Just finished my english oral presentation :D :D I thank God, really really thank God for this opportunity to share His love. At first I was reluctant to share about 'Love' (which I shared during my business communication oral presentation) because I thought it was not so relevant to what my lecturer wanted to hear. But then I went ahead with it because.... I'm a missionary! :p Then there was Q&A session and I was so nervous. I thank God for His wisdom! Seriously! Ms.Chew asked me questions like "Since when you begin to see the importance of love?" "How do you think God sees love?" and so, I have the opportunity to share my testimony in front of the whole class, including 2 malay friends. :D

Last friday during cg, we were asked to introduce ourselves. Our name and what we are doing now, eg. studying at bla bla college/uni.

So I said, "My name is Carmen and I'm studying in USM."

But deep inside me, I'm so tempted to say
"My name is Carmen. And I'm a missionary sent by God in USM"

I think it's a nice song :) While I was listening to the lyrics, I was like "Wah, I don't know whether I will find a guy like this in the future..who will accept me just the way I am?"

And then a thought came to me. Jesus accepts me just the way I am! :)

I want to learn!

Had a great time playing monopoly, sharing and laughing with Bay and Abel. It's amazing how God works. God has been showing me how He can use different people from different background to impact USM in different ways. And all I can say is that 'My God is a great God.' I used to see how people 'perform' when they come before God and then I will 'rate' them in their spiritual maturity. I find myself so shallow!! :( But since last year somewhere in Oct or Nov, :) i no longer see people that way :) PKA has become like a family for me. Many of them impacted me indirectly, the way they speak and the way they live. There are many things happening behind the scene which I don't see.. because I am not God?? obviously! LOL. Hm, then who am I to even 'rate' them? Now, I actually look up to many of them... their strengths, which I want to pick up! :)

God is so patient in dealing with my flaws. hahaha :)
Thank God for PKA!

I don't like to share deep stuff. like my own personal 'deep' stuff. especially when I need to do it verbally.. because whenever I do that, I know I will cry.

I'm such a crybaby. I need a breakthrough!
