Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
The verse here says give thanks IN everything, not FOR everything. You don't give thanks to God for the bad things in your life but you give thanks because you know that no matter how rough or tough your situation is, God is still with you. He will never forsake you. I'm going to hold on to this verse when I step into MBS, in about 11 hours from now. :)
